The 1-gang size has about 30 cubic inches of storage space, and the 2-gang size about 50 cubic inches. Despite its compact size, it maximizes storage space efficiently, ensuring that your most treasured items are securely hidden and easily accessible when needed.
What materials are used in the construction of the Safe?
The safe is built from sturdy metal components (alloy steel). The key-lock version adds a lock hidden behind the wall plate; the no-lock version has no keyhole at all, so there is nothing to give it away.
Is it fireproof and waterproof?
While the Elder Welder® Wall Outlet Hidden Safe is not specifically designed to be fireproof or waterproof, it provides an added layer of security for your valuables against theft. For optimal protection of critical documents or items against fire or water damage, it is recommended to use additional protective measures such as a fireproof bag or container within the safe.
